Sajack Animal Hospital is a privately owned, state-of-the-art animal hospital in Berthoud, Colorado. Founded by Dr. McKayla Peterson and her husband Kaleb Kurtzer, the hospital delivers personalized, fear-free care with over 70 years of combined veterinary experience.
The name “Sajack” comes from Kaleb’s dad’s first horse, honoring the family’s ranching heritage from Sterling, Colorado. After three years of planning and construction, the hospital officially opened its doors in March 2026.
